Hello, this auction is for a 1954 Chevrolet Corvette 235 inline-6 short block, with a casting date of E 21 4, that has been completely re-machined and rebuilt. The block has been burnt in an oven, shot peened, magnafluxed, and pressure tested. The block was then honed, line bored and surfaced. Crank is .010 under on the bearings (Federal Mogul) and rods are .020 under on the bearings (Federal Mogul), Bore is standard. Pistons are Silvolite (New) and Rings are Hastings (New). Crank was polished before installation. New Durabond Cam Bearings and Freeze Plugs.
It is painted with cast iron paint and is ready to finish being dressed and installed in your vehicle.
